Keith Urban says season two of his wife’s show Big Little Lies is a “wild ride”

ABC/Mark LevineKeith Urban admits he’s great at keeping secrets, which is why he’s not revealing any plot points for the new season of Big Little Lies — even though he’s married to one of the HBO series’ stars.

Keith tells Entertainment Tonight that he’s seen all seven episodes of the second season of the twisty show, which stars his wife Nicole Kidman, as well as Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern and a new addition to the cast: Meryl Streep.

While he refuses to give any hints about the storyline, Keith does promise that fans are “in for a wild ride.”

“I would never divulge, I wouldn’t take the fun away. That’s what it is,” he says. “It’s amazing. Everybody is just at their best in this whole season.”

Based on Liane Moriarty‘s novel of the same name, Big Little Lies was adapted into a series by David E. Kelley and premiered in 2017. Nicole won a Golden Globe and an Emmy for her portrayal of Celeste Wright.

Season two of Big Little Lies premieres on Sunday, the same night that Keith takes the stage at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium as part of 2019 CMA Fest.
