Jimmie Allen, Mickey Guyton + More Sign on for New Reality TV Show, ‘My Kind of Country’

Jimmie Allen, Mickey Guyton, and Orville Peck will host Apple TV+‘s My Kind of Country singing competition.

The three stars will invite competitors from across the world to Nashville in the eight-episode series to find the next big country star.

My Kind of Country will feature progressive country artists.  Billboard said the show will “tear down barriers in country music by delivering an unparalleled platform to diverse and inventive musicians from around the world.”

Executive producers Reese Witherspoon and Kacey Musgraves will appear in the series.  Apple Music will provide “life-changing” support and advertising to the My Kind of Country winner.
