In an unanimous vote, the Romeoville board voted to host Ribfest in 2020. Romeoville Mayor John Noak tells WJOL that the event is still run by the Exchange Club of Naperville and will be held around the July 4th weekend. Romeoville residents will get a 72- hour advance purchase notice to buy tickets for main events before the general public has access.  Noak says there will be plenty of parking spaces and ample amount of shuttle buses to the event. No word on next year musical

The Exchange Club of Naperville’s mission has been dedicated to funding local and regional non-profit agencies that work to strengthen families, eliminate child abuse and domestic violence, and promote Americanism. More than $17.5 million from its service activities at Ribfest have been distributed to more than fifty local charities including the Will County Children Advocacy Center and Guardian Angel Community Services in Joliet.
