IKEA Will Pay You To Discover The Key To Happiness

Do you know the key to happiness? If you don’t, it’s not a big deal. IKEA wants to help you figure it out and report back.
The furniture giant’s Denmark franchise will send a “researcher” to Copenhagen during September to learn what makes the country top the World Happiness Report, just behind Finland.
Lene Gaarde, a communications manager at IKEA Denmark, says, “We know that Danes have a strong emotional connection to their homes which they perceive as a safe space for wellness and ‘hygge’,” meaning “fun” in English.
In addition to the free, two-week trip, the winner will be treated to meals, tours, and outings, plus get paid. The entire experience will be captured in a mini-documentary. Find out more here from Hello Giggles.
