Heath Sanders Teams Up With Justin Moore

For New Blue Collar Anthem “Raised On Red” Heath Sanders is bringing his southern rock roots to his new song, “Raised on Red.” The song pays homage to Sanders’ home state of Arkansas. Written by Sanders, Dawson Edwards, and Houston Phillips, “Raised on Red” pays tribute to all things red.  Heath discussed the song on Justin Moore’s podcast, “The state of Arkansas, the thing’s just painted red. From the Razorbacks to the flag to all of it, red’s pretty synonymous with Arkansas,” said Sanders.  The song isn’t just for Arkansans, but for all the “rednecks.” “It’s a term of endearment where we come from. I was pretty shocked to find out in my older age that it was used as an insult in some places. I call my buddies rednecks, that’s a pat on the back. It’s synonymous with hard work and self-sufficiency and everything that makes us who we are,” said Sanders.
