Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton ‘Exploring Their Options’ to Have a Baby

About two weeks after their Fourth of July wedding, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton announce that they are ready to expand their family.

According to a close source, the newlyweds are exploring their options to have a baby.

The source told Hollywood Life, “…They’re very open to surrogacy and that is what they are honing in on if they do decide to do this.  Because of Gwen’s age, they know that it will be difficult to happen naturally; but they want a baby together.”

It is also becoming more common for the wealthy or the famous to seek a surrogate mother, rather than re-shape body images which have taken years to sculpt and market, and have become their “brands.”

Gwen is 51 and Blake is 45, so they are looking to have a baby sooner, rather than later.  Blake wants to have a child with Gwen and she’s always wanted a girl.  However, she says she would be satisfied with another boy, because “she knows how to raise a boy.”

Blake is now officially the stepfather of Gwen’s two sons, from her former marriage to Gavin Rossdale.

Shelton never had kids with his first wife, nor with his second (Miranda Lambert).
