GEORGE STRAIT CANCELS NOTRE DAME STADIUM SHOW, POSTPONES MINNEAPOLIS DATE
(04/21/2021)
George Strait’s scheduled concert at the University of Notre Dame football stadium has been canceled, while another in Minneapolis has been pushed back from this summer to this fall. The changes were made due to the ongoing pandemic, with Notre Dame News specifying that “spectator safety” is “the highest priority.”

The Notre Dame concert was originally scheduled for August last year and was postponed until August of this year due to the pandemic. Whether the concert takes place at all is uncertain, so fans are automatically being refunded for their tickets.

“King George’s” July 31st concert in Minneapolis has been pushed back to November 13th. This show was also originally supposed to happen in 2020. George will be joined by Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town for this new date.

George’s ongoing Las Vegas residency has also been postponed indefinitely.
