General Mills is recalling around 600-thousand pounds of Gold Medal flour that might have E. coli contamination.  The company said Monday night the voluntary recall is for five-pound bags with a use-by date of September 6, 2020.  General Mills said it discovered the possible contamination during sampling of the product.

Consumers are asked to check their pantries and dispose of the product affected by this recall.
