Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw and Tracy Lawrence Were Once Bridesmen for the Same Wedding

Can you imagine a wedding where Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, and Tracy Lawrence are all bridesmen?  That’s exactly what happened, some years ago.

The three country music superstars attended the wedding of a close, mutual friend, Tammy Rose.  As a guest on Keith Urban’s “Beyond Influence Radio,” McGraw spoke about those times, when Tammy kind of took him under her wing, when he first moved to Nashville.

Garth and Tracy were her friends, too – and she invited the three stars to be a part of her wedding.  At the time Brooks had just broken through in a big way.  Lawrence had some hits under his belt.  And McGraw had just gotten signed.

“Tracy and I had been friends for a while and he had his success, but Garth was there and I’m sort of in awe of Garth being there,” McGraw recalled.  Remember his hit, with Lawrence:  “You Find Out Who Your Friends Are“?  Weddings seem to be one of those times.
