Garth Brooks shares his excitement as his album, “The Chase” gets ready to turn 30. While the album suffered controversy due to its track, “We Shall Be Free,” Garth says he’s proud of the album reaching diamond status.  “It’s my favorite of the Diamonds because it was the one that just got the living hell kicked out of it for ‘We Shall Be Free,'” Brooks told PopCulture.com. Fans felt Brooks changed his music but the singer says the song represents a different side of him.  I can’t tell you how proud I was when that Diamond came across. They said it was The Chase; s—, I cried because these are like your children, in a way,” explained Brooks.  “So to see that thing reach Diamond status really made me even more proud than when No Fences or Double Live or anything was lucky enough to get there.” What has been your favorite Garth Brooks album?
