FRISKY FRIDAY FURRY-FRIEND: Most Dog Lovers Want their Pup Involved in their Wedding
Almost Two-Thirds of Dog Lovers Want their Pup Involved in their Wedding

A new poll, of 2,000 U.S. adults, indicates that two-thirds of dog owners want their fur baby involved in the happiest day of their lives.  And 93% say their dog is a part of the family.

Ring bearer, flower girl, and page boy are among some of the roles dog owners envision their pups having on the big day.

The survey also suggested that couples would spend around $60 to get their dog ready to walk down the aisle.  Popular accessories include special collars, custom suits, bow ties, or a custom dress.

Dogs may even boost the mood of the guests.  “I hired corgis for a wedding recently and it was a brilliant addition,” celebrity wedding planner Mark Niemierko said.  “It really calmed guests down, and I’ll definitely be doing it again.”
