Humor and clear intentions are the best habits, when you’re flirting, over text messages or DMs.

“People think that humor, or being able to make another person laugh, is most effective for men who are looking for a long-term relationship,” Professor Leif Edward Ottesen Kennair said.

Poor spelling and grammar can also be interpreted as lack of effort – or brain cells LOL.

And, of course, cheating is another turn-off.
