TikTokers Complain The Yoga Tag Is Too Sexy
What would you expect if you searched for #yoga, on TikTok? Unfortunately, users are complaining that this fitness tag is filled with inappropriate imagery.
Yoga instructor Nikita Desai claims the TikTok algorithm is prioritizing sexually charged clips. And her video now has over 55,000 likes.
Some common images, commenters complained, about include women having their legs pushed open or being bent over, and women doing yoga poses in g-strings.
Desai reminds viewers in her video that yoga is “an ancient, deep, meaningful, spiritual practice that was intended for the purpose of our mental and emotional well-being.”
