Man Who Sleeps in a Tent in His Yard – While his Wife Sleeps in their Bed – Says It Helps their Marriage
This isn’t traditional, but that doesn’t really matter.  Podcaster Rich Roll says he lives in a home, in California, with his wife of nearly 20-years, Julie Piatt.
But the 55-year-old also says he’s been sleeping in a tent, outside of his home, for about two years.
He explains in a YouTube video that the setup allows him to sleep better, connect with nature, and support a stoic practice.
He also says his marriage is “all good.”  The couple decided it was a good idea after they realized they prefer different indoor temperatures; and how much better Roll felt after he slept outdoors.  [More aTENTive, perhaps?  Sorry!]
