Driver in custody after car drives through Woodfield Mall

Police responded at around 2:30 this afternoon (9/20/19) and the driver was taken into custody after it appears he drove thru the Woodfield Mall.

Witnesses have said a black SUV drove through Sears striking kiosks on the lower level of the mall.

A video posted to Twitter shows a black SUV driving past a Forever 21, and people running away, Watch with caution as some blue language is used..

Schaumburg police said no injuries were reported. Police also said there was no evidence of an active shooter.
