Dolly Parton Asks Katy Perry for a Half-Time Mulligan

In a recent interview, Dolly Parton confirms the rumor that she turned down Katy Perry’s request to perform with her during the 2015 Super Bowl Half-Time Show.

Parton says, “That’s true.  I would have done it, but at the time my husband was not doing good.  He was kind of puny and I couldn’t leave him, so I couldn’t do it.  But maybe we’ll do it again because I love her.”
