Some people just seem to know how to get things done…  and, done WELL.  Want a shortcut to that kind of success?

Consider “taking a page out of the books” of some of the most successful people in history – and build a new routine for yourself.  Whether you end up following the example of a Benjamin Franklin or a Leonardo DaVinci, you can get yourself a little more legendary status, or just feel more in control of things.

Really successful people have one important thing in common:  a similar morning routine.  Here’s what they do.

Try getting some work done from bed, in your head.  We all know it’s not good for you to have the phone or the laptop in there.  But it is good to lay awake, a little before you actually get up, and “order your day,” in your mind.

Also, ask yourself what you can do today,  a new resolution – each time you wake for the morning.  Accomplish an idea goal or an emotional one.

Take a morning walk – or doing another physical activity you enjoy.  If that’s not your cup of tea, try a quick bit of gardening or stretch.

Start the morning with a mental treat…  Not like sweets, rather, doing something you enjoy.  Sing.  Meditate.  Read a new inspirational quote.

Play an instrument, or maybe try a Sudoku puzzle… Check out the full article from Mental Floss, HERE.
