Dierks Bentley and his family moved to Colorado in March, and if it’s up to him, they’re never going to leave.  Quote, “Someone’s going to have to drag me out of Colorado because I do like being there.”

Dierks Bentley is officially a mountain man.  He moved his family to Colorado in March, and then the pandemic hit, so they had to stay there.  Now it looks like they may never leave . . . and he’s okay with that.

Bentley tells People.com Quote, “I put my kids in school out there and we just kind of moved.  I’m making up for lost time with my family.  It’s been 18 years now of touring and being gone every weekend.  Now I’m somewhere I can ride bikes with my kids to school.

“I put a camper on the back of my 1994 Chevy, and we go camping almost every weekend.”  This isn’t just because of COVID.  He’s been drawn to Colorado his whole life and settling there is something he’s “always wanted to do.”

And he’s been slowly inching in that direction.  That’s where he wrote and recorded his album, “The Mountain” . . . and where he launched his Seven Peaks Music Festival.

There’s always a chance he’ll move back to Nashville because that’s where the work is.  But don’t count on it.  Quote, “Someone’s going to have to drag me out of Colorado because I do like being there.”
