Country Outlaw Legend Merle Haggard Gets New Biography

A biography on the life of legendary country music outlaw Merle Haggard is coming. ‘The Hag: The Life, Times, and Music of Merle Haggard’ will be released on January 18. The book features information gathered from over 100 interviews and chronicles Haggard’s life and work in the 20th and 21st centuries. Among the stories shared in the book is the tale of Haggard witnessing a performance from Johnny Cash during his time in San Quentin Prison.
