Colter Wall Calls Garth Brooks’ Regina Dates ‘Pretty Disrespectful’

Canadians in the city of Regina are upset with Garth Brooks booking a second night at Regina’s Mosaic Stadium after tickets to his Saturday concert sold out in less than an hour, Brooks tour overlaps the Regina Folk Festival, a staple music event for the city.
Regina Folk Festival performers took to social media to share their frustrations, namely Colter Wall who tweeted, “The City of Regina is blatantly f__king over Folk Fest this year by having him play during the same weekend. Pretty damn disrespectful.”
The Regina Folk Fest (RFF) is a free event and features local acts, is working with Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL) to make the weekend a success, “We want them to stay for the entire weekend because now they can experience one of the best folk festivals in Canada at the same time as experiencing one of the best artists on the planet,” said REAL president and CEO Tim Reid.
