Chris Stapleton’s ‘Arkansas’ Turns a Road Trip Into a Song [Listen]

Chris Stapleton released a new song on Friday titled “Arkansas” after a road trip through the state.
He performed the song at a concert in 2019, and said his wife bought him a car in Oklahoma City, so he and his bassist went to pick the car up and took a road trip through the Natural State on their way back to Nashville, Tennessee and that’s how the song was born.
