Chris Janson Taps Father, Father-In-Law For ‘Waitin’ On 5′ Video

Chris Janson has released the video for his latest single, “Waitin’ On 5.” The clip was filmed at the Highland Rim Speedway in Greenbrier, TN and it features Chris’ father, who fills his real-life role as an auto body painter, as well as his father-in-law.
“Waitin’ On 5” is an ode to the working man, a subject that Chris knows a lot about. He tells us: [“I wrote this for people like that. I mean, I wrote it for 9 to 5 people which is like the majority of the world, and, heck, I’ve been there (laughs). I’ve been that guy a time or two so I know exactly what it’s like. Those are my buddies. My buddies are working class blue collar heroes and so I try to just kind of make music for people that I know, the things that I know, people that I love and people that I’m around on a daily basis.”
“Waitin’ On 5” was released last month and follows up Chris’ fourth Number One hit, “Done.”
