Celebs are Doing Zoom Chats with Fans for Money

Some celebrities have found a new way to make money from their fame amid the coronavirus pandemic, with so many people stuck at home with not a lot to do. They are selling Zoom calls that they do with fans for hundreds or thousands of dollars. It’s done through the startup Cameo, which lets people pay celebrities for personal video messages, and now lets users pay for a 10-minute Zoom call. According to CNN, the most expensive are: former NFL star Brett Favre for $5,000; ex-NSYNC singer Lance Bass for $1,250; and skateboarder Tony Hawk for $1,000. Country Singers Granger Smith & Pat Green are also on the list for $399.  For a few hundred dollars, you can do a Zoom call with mostly reality TV show figures. Here’s the complete story from CNN.
