CDC Recommends You Delay Labor Day Weekend Travel Until You’re Vaccinated
CDC:  If You’re Unvaccinated You Should Delay Travel This Labor Day Weekend

If you’re thinking about traveling this Labor Day weekend, medical experts say you should really be vaccinated.

The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Dr. Rochelle Walensky, said during a White House briefing on Tuesday (September 1st), that Americans should delay travel until becoming fully vaccinated.

She added “…People who are fully vaccinated and who are wearing masks can travel although given where we are with disease transmission right now, we would say that people need to take these risks into their own consideration as they think about traveling.”

PLUS:  Children under the age of 12 have not generally been vaccinated; which poses great risk for their health, during this massive spread of the extra-dangerous Delta variant of Covid.  Keeping kids away from strangers and new places is more important right now than it has been, ever before.
