Carly Pearce and Michael Ray Getting Divorced

Carly Pearce has filed for divorce from Michael Ray, after just eight months of marriage.  She reportedly filed the paperwork, Friday (June 19th).

Carly and Michael went public with their romance in June of 2018.  In December of that year, they got engaged.  Then, they tied the knot at a farm, near Nashville, in front of a small group of family and friends, October 6, 2019.

A source told People.com of Carly, “This was a hard decision. It wasn’t something she wanted to have to do. This hasn’t been a quarantine realization — it was a last resort.”

The two were last spotted together on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, June 6th ,where fellow performer Steve Wariner sat between them.

Fans have been chatting about the possibility of trouble, within the relationship, for the last several weeks – as they both quit posting and commenting about each other, on social media.

Neither Pearce nor Ray has made any statement.

Over the weekend, Carly celebrated her Number One hit, “I Hope You’re Happy Now,” with friends.  Michael was noticably absent.  Fans were quick to point out that she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring.
