Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani Fans Baffled: He Leaves ‘The Voice’ for Family Time – Now She Returns?

Apparently, Blake Shelton didn’t quit The Voice solely to spend more time at home with Gwen Stefani; in fact, the former “No Doubt” lead singer is headed back to the big red chair.

As Shelton ends his career on the NBC show this month, Stefani returns for Season 24 in the fall.

Currently, Stefani, John Legend, and Niall Horan will be Reba McEntire‘s co-coaches.

Only Shelton, Legend, Adam Levine, and Kelly Clarkson have coached more seasons than Stefani.

Shelton told ExtraTV: “First and foremost, I know she absolutely loves this job — and she’s always excited and a little bit shocked when they call and ask her and invite her to come back again.”
