Get your telescopes ready for an amazing show in the sky. Jupiter and Saturn will align
with the moon this weekend. On Friday night, the moon will appear close to Jupiter. On Saturday night,
the moon will be directly between them. And on Sunday night, the moon will appear near Saturn.
Photographers should be able to capture all three in the same photo on any of the three nights.

Another “free” show is coming this Monday night.
Scientists say that the meteor shower known as the Perseids will reach its peak Monday into Tuesday morning.
According to the American Meteor Society, “the Perseids are the most popular meteor shower as they peak on warm August nights as seen from the Northern Hemisphere.”
