A few weeks ago we told you about Toys R Us closing some stores including the store in Matteson, Illinois. Now comes word that all Toys R Us stores may be closing in the U.S. as soon as next week. Toys R Us has locations in Joliet, Orland Park, Burbank, Schaumberg, Highland Park, Niles, and Aurora, plus Chicago locations that remain open. Decreasing sales over Christmas and Online Retailers like Amazon have taken a toll on the Toy Giant. Plus Toy Makers Hasbro and Mattel have seen dropping sales too. Seems so sad another retailer may go away. The way we purchase items has changed, retailers will have to find creative ways to keep customers, but it may be too late for Toys R Us.
