I've been in radio since 1982 when I fell into an on air job overnights and I've never looked back. I was born in Twin Falls Idaho, did some time in California but spent the majority of my years in in Oregon, so I call it my home state.
I took a break from radio and joined the Marine Corps as a Combat Engineer (1371) and then got right back on the air.
We moved to Illinois in 2004 so my wife could be near her family, 4 sisters, (What was I thinking) and have come to enjoy all that this area has to offer.
In my radio career I've been a DJ and/or program director for almost every format, Classic Rock, Top 40, Oldies, News Talk and Country.
Country fans are my favorite because they live the music and are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet.

WHEN I'M NOT ON THE AIR, I LIKE TO: Spend time with my family.  Ride my horse, my Harley, Snowboard, Sky Dive, SCUBA and any other thrilling hobby.

FAVORITE FOOD: Deep Dish Chicago Pizza, Fresh King Crab, smoked meats and anything spicy.

FAVORITE MOVIES: Yellowbeard (if you've seen it you get me), Blade Runner, A Christmas Story and 40 year old Virgin.

FAVORITE TV SHOWS:How It's Made, Myth Busters, Hell's Kitchen, Entourage, American Idol and Country Star.

FAVORITE SPORTS TEAMS: The Broncos, Sox's and the Black Hawks.

FAVORITE VACATION SPOT: Anywhere there is white sand and blue water, rushing rapids or lot's of snow and mountains.

FAVORITE WCCQ ARTISTS: Brad Paisley, James Otto, Surgarland, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts,  Kenny Chesney, Big & Rich, George Strait and Neal McCoy.
