Homegrown from Plainfield Illinois I started in radio when I was up at Lake Forest College. I blew out my arm and instead of playing college softball I became the color commentary for the Lake Forest Foresters on WMXM. From there, I began taking over the news department. When I realized radio was what I wanted to do I transferred back home to Will County and finished my degree at Lewis University. I grew up on country and southern rock thanks to excellent music influence from my father, and feel right at home here on your hometown country station.
Born: Plainfield, IL.
Favorite Food: Eating and cooking are two of my favorite things. That said, all I need in life is a homemade baked good and an adult beverage. Pie and wine, bourbon and cheesecake...any pairing works!
Favorite TV Shows- Don't get a chance to sit very often, but when I do, my general nerdiness takes over and I'm in front of the History Channel, Food Network, sporting event, or my ultimate guilty pleasure....Top Gear.
Favorite Sports Team(s)- The Pittsburgh Steelers, The Chicago White Sox, The Chicago Bandits, The Chicago Blackhaw
Hobbies: Enjoying live music and a good beverage in an old bar, chasing Piper (my rescue puppy) around the yard, contemplating how to get the old Grand Am out of the barn.
Favorite WCCQ Arists: Tanya Tucker, Sugarland, Loretta Lynn, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Johnny Cash, Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean, Steve Earle, Rodney Atkins
Likes: Bourbon, being barefoot, going to the shooting range, figuring out how to sneak another rescue dog into the house.
